Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora

Bora Bora Honeymoon Resort
Bora Bora Honeymoon Resort – Four Seasons

As a well-known hotel brand, Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora offers the perfect blend of luxury, elegance, excellent hospitality, and unforgettable experience. Accommodations at Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora include spacious overwater bungalows and beachfront villas, each elegantly designed with traditional Polynesian decor and modern amenities. The overwater bungalows feature private decks with direct access to the crystal-clear lagoon, where you can swim, snorkel, or bask in the sun while enjoying the panoramic views of Mount Otemanu. This is the Bora Bora you’re dreaming of!

The resort offers a range of world-class facilities and services, including multiple restaurants, a luxurious spa offering a variety of treatments and wellness programs, and a range of recreational activities such as water sports, island excursions, and cultural experiences. The dining options include Arii Moana, a casual but elegant Mediterranean restaurant, and a grill on the beach.

The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort

The St. Regis is very comparable to Four Seasons in my opinion. They also offer luxurious overwater bungalows with stunning views of the lagoon and Mount Otemanu. Each bungalow features elegant Polynesian-inspired decor, private decks, and direct access to the crystal-clear waters below, providing couples with the ultimate romantic retreat. They’re similar to Four Seasons although I personally prefer the bungalow at Four Seasons. I felt they’re more authentic Polynesian style and felt more open. I felt St. Regis a bit too “Marrotty” in French Polynesia although you could take advantage of Marriott Bonvoy if you’re a member. But the choice will come down to personal preferences.

Conrad Bora Bora Nui

The accommodation options at Conrad Bora Bora Nui include overwater villas and beachfront villas. They are very open and spacious with modern Polynesian-style decor. While overwater villas are popular, especially for those on honeymoon, lagoon view villas are on the hilltop and have a great view of the lagoon. They also come with a large private terrace. Another advantage of staying at a non-overwater villa is that you’re closer to pools, spas, and other amenities.

The dining options include French, modern Chinese, beach grill, and bars. Of course, they can arrange private dining at your villa or anywhere on the property. Make sure to check out their glass-bottom floor at their lounge bar. They also offer traditional “Ahima’a” – a traditional way of cooking food in an underground oven. They are accompanied by singing and dancing. I found Conrad more fun as they offer live music and dance shows.

InterContinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa

Bora Bora Honeymoon – InterContinental

InterContinental in Bora Bora is slightly more budget-friendly than the above three properties, but it still offers a great honeymoon resort. They offer overwater villas and suites, equipped with modern facilities. Some villas come with a private splash pool. For dining options, they offer international and French cuisines, as well as a beach bar. They also have a cute chapel facing Mt Otemanu, if you decide to tie the knot there.

Their spa facilities are amazing and worth a visit even if you’re not staying at InterContinental. The Deep Ocean Spa is in the lush gardens and offers glass-bottomed treatment rooms with views of the lagoon. The facility offers multi-sensory outdoor spas, steam baths, a fitness center, a tea lounge, and a spa boutique for relaxation and rejuvenation.

Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts

Bora Bora Honeymoon – Pearl Resorts

Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts is located on Motu Tevairoa, a ten-minute boat ride from the airport or fifteen minutes across the lagoon from the village of Vaitape. The property was recently refurnished and the villas I have seen were very fresh and luxurious. They offer overwater bungalows and garden/beach villas. Overwater villas offer amazing views of Mt. Otemanu. I thought this property had the best view of the mountain among the properties I stayed. So, if the view is important, I recommend this resort.

The dining options include Otemanu restaurant offering French-Polynesian cuisine, more casual grill Miki Miki, and French fine dining Poerava. I loved Poerava a lot and strongly recommend to all honeymooners. The restaurant is slightly secluded and has a great view of the garden. It’s intimate and romantic, and of course, the food is amazing. Their amenities including Tavai Spa and outdoor pool, as well as the activities they offer, are top-notch. When I visited, there were some children. Not that it was a problem, but I got the impression that this resort was more family-friendly than the other properties.

Finally, the above five resorts are the most popular and luxurious resorts in Bora Bora, fit for a honeymoon in my opinion. I was lucky enough to visit all of them, and I can guarantee you that whichever you decide to stay, you’ll have an amazing and very romantic time. Bora Bora is a very special place, not just for the picture-perfect overwater bungalows but also for its amazing nature and rich culture. Click each link for more photos and availability. Enjoy!
