San Diego offers mild winter, typically ranging from the mid-60s to low 70s Fahrenheit (18-23°C). It’s also renowned for its abundant sunshine throughout the year. Winter is no exception, providing plenty of sunny days for outdoor activities. Although the water may be too cold for swimming without a wetsuit, walking on the beach is very pleasant. You can also enjoy San Diego’s year-round attractions without the large crowds often seen during peak tourist seasons. This makes San Diego one of the best winter getaways on the West Coast for those who are escaping from the winter chill.
